peanut butter flax energy bites

these bite-size bombs of healthy fats, fiber, and flax seed are a staple in my house! i love to have a few pre- or post-workout or whenever i'm feeling snackish.

ingredients:

- 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter

- 1/2 c. flaxseed meal

- 1 c. rolled oats

- 1/4 c. maple syrup

- 1 tsp. vanilla in a bowl


process:

in a large bowl mix together peanut butter, flax, maple syrup, and vanilla until well-combined. stir in rolled oats until evenly coated. add in mini chocolate chips or other mix-in of choice. roll into balls and store in the fridge for an easy snack!
